My flower field 12 soil beds · each right answer grows the next one
Answer 1 question to unlock these little tools

How to play

The field has 12 soil beds, one plant each. A question sits on the right. Every right answer waters the next bed, and that plant climbs one stage: seed, sprout, seedling, bud, bloom. Four stages and a flower opens; fill all 12 beds and the whole field is in flower.

The questions run from kindergarten to Grade 5 — 72 of them, all about nature, science, everyday know-how and culture. Use Settings in the top bar to change the level; the change applies from the next question on.

Think first, then tap

  1. Why is a banana green on the tree and yellow a few days after picking?
  2. Why does a rainbow always sit on the far side of the sky from the sun?
  3. Why are some tree rings wide and some narrow?
Thought about it? Check yourself

A ripening banana gives off a gas that softens the flesh and turns the peel from green to yellow. A rainbow appears when sunlight bends and reflects inside raindrops, so you see it with the sun behind you. A wide ring means a wet year with fast growth; a narrow one means drought or cold.

How a flower grows, stage by stage

Five steps for every plant. The seed swells as it takes up water. Two small leaves push through the soil — that's the sprout. The stem lengthens and more leaves open: a seedling. A small bud swells at the tip, and finally the petals unfold: bloom.

So one bed needs four right answers, and the whole field needs forty-eight. Nothing is decorative about the water: the field, the day's score and your level are all saved on this device, so the plants are still there next time.

What happens when you miss

A wrong answer never shows you the right one. You get a nudge in the right direction and may try again; miss the same question twice and the lesson shows the answer and moves on, leaving that bed unplanted. If your child would rather not dwell on it, turn on “New question after a miss” in Settings — one miss and the lesson quietly swaps in another question.

FAQ

Is my field still here if I close the tab?Yes. The 12 beds, today's score, the level and the three switches live in this browser, so you pick up where you left off. Clearing site data or switching devices starts you over.

Do I need the sound on?Sound is off by default; switch it on for little water, sprout and bloom noises. The background tune is on by default — a quiet loop you can turn off any time.

What if the whole field is in flower?Open Settings and hit Clear the field. Beds, score and the day's count all go back to zero, and you plant again. It asks once more before doing it.

What are the stones and signs for?Pure decoration. Right answers unlock them; pick a tool, then tap a bed to place or remove one. They are remembered too.
